Queensland Just Became the Worst State to Locum. South Australia Is Now the Best.

Queensland has removed the 20 per cent rural loading that used to sit on top of locum placements in rural facilities. Posted rates on StatDoctor were already reflecting it in August, with the Queensland median falling from $300 to $220 an hour. South Australia is moving the other way, with rural agreement rates rising about 3 per cent, which now makes it the strongest state on published rates for rural locum work.
