New platform: men's and women's telehealth
A new Australian telehealth venture is building dedicated men's health (https://menn.au) and women's health (https://womenn.au) services, and it wants GPs in the loop on the clinical pathways. If you're keen to help shape how these platforms support patients, register your interest via StatDoctor and we'll connect you.
Partner spotlight: Medsalv

Medsalv
For the sustainability and efficiency-minded doctors out there, Medsalv remanufactures single-use medical devices. They collect used devices from hospitals, then clean, inspect, test and remanufacture them so they safely return to clinical use, usually cheaper than the original. They work with roughly 170 hospitals across Australia and New Zealand. They're fully TGA-regulated and ARTG-registered, ISO 13485 certified, and the highest-scoring B Corp for medical devices in the world. For clinicians: real cost savings, far less clinical waste, and a more resilient local supply chain. Keen to see it in your hospital? Email oliver.hunt@medsalv.com.

MediSuccess
Also in the partner network: MediSuccess, the medical accounting arm of the WOW! Advisors group. They work with doctors on tax, practice structures and bookkeeping, so locum income, deductions and entities are handled by accountants who live and breathe medical finances. Want an intro? Urgent Care Clinics keep expanding
The federal government has committed to 50 more bulk-billing Urgent Care Clinics, part of an ongoing push to ease pressure on EDs and widen after-hours access.
AI scribes are cutting the paperwork
A 2026 JAMA study across five US medical centres found ambient AI scribes saved about 16 minutes per encounter and reduced clinician burnout.
